About us
Alinea is a workflow and patient engagement platform built in Elixir and deployed on GCP. Recently acquired by Net Health, Alinea continues to expand and refine its product offerings. Net Health is fully remote and dedicated to building strong, distributed engineering teams.
About the job
• Design, develop, and maintain Elixir applications in a production environment.
• Work with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, etc.) to manage deployment, scaling, and performance.
• Optimize database queries and schemas in PostgreSQL to ensure robust and efficient data handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning, feature design, and continuous integration.
• Performance tuning, code reviews, and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.
• Remote-first mindset: communicate proactively, self-manage tasks, and stay organized.
Qualifications
• Experience building and deploying Elixir applications.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/Terraform and PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated success in performance optimization and automation.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test-driven development.
• Experience (or strong comfort) with fully remote, distributed teams.
• US residency required.
