Job title: Lead Elixir Developer
Job description: As a Lead Elixir Developer at The Nomix Group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Elixir-based applications within the Phoenix Framework. We’re on the lookout for someone that enjoys taking the reins on projects and collaborating directly with the CTO & VP Engineering to deliver full vertical slices of projects at pace.
Salary range: Competitive contract-based compensation.
**Position on remote work: **This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world.
Qualifications or experience required:
- Proven experience with Elixir and the Phoenix Framework in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with Postgres and AWS.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
**What the successful job applicant will be working on: **
The successful candidate will be able to take ownership of a project, gather and fulfil requirements and contribute to the development of our Elixir applications, collaborating with our team to enhance existing features, build new functionality, and ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.
About the interview process
Our interview process is typically quite short, consisting of a short initial call, followed by a coding challenge that should take no longer than 2 hours to complete. Then we will have a follow up call to discuss the challenge and any other questions.
