I made a cover (unfinished) of After Dark by Mr.Kitty using bandlab and I would love any feedback, particularly on the mixing. Im also struggling with my vocals. I have trouble transitioning between head voice and chest voice and it doesnt sound natural 😭

Intro sound ok
There’s a very strong dynamic contrast between the intro vocal and the climax vocal. From a psychoacoustic perspective, it ends up sounding too close. That’s just my creative view, though, and it might work perfectly fine in a different context.
Also, I’d use a bit less saturation and add just a little warmth and a room verb (seems very close). It's all IMHO, looking at it from the outside
