#How to claim original work

As the title suggests, my friend and I have made some original music together which im planning to post on social media for general public to listen. Now, someone please tell me how the credit system works? Do I need to get papers done? Or a normal mention of her name will do? Also, how do people protect their music from getting stolen? What are the steps to prevent it? Also, any idea about how to post without doxxing myself? lol

Since this will be my first time putting an original out on public platform, any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you !
