I would say start with makeing the music first once u have that u could then u should be good

U can ask me for help im not the best at making songs but i have experience ig so I could just edit the lyrics around

Hi!! Ah I'm in the same boat! Love to sing, but don't know how to write.. but what I've learnt over the past few months is that.. if ur a vocalist start by writing the lyrics first, and then put a melody on it.. not the other way around

Also there are many songwriting techniques that you can learn off of youtube! And I usually pick a topic which means a lot to me.. for me, it helps in terms of brainstorming the lyric; but I'm sure that varies person to person!
