so i inhaled my belly is sticking out, when i sing should i expand it more or should let it go in cause when i tryna do when my mom sleeps like noiseless sounds its just air coming out and i feel when i sing that it sounds breaththy or is that normal?

i have like 2 differente things i found but which one sounds right.

  1. inhaled and then let it slowly go without expanding, for example inhale and then let the air come out with the belly going in (its just a let go feeling)

  2. inhaled and then act like number 2 but just a little bit so that it doesnt tense too much but a lil and then imagine the wall from starwars going in from the soft spot at the ribs at ur belly button

which one sounds right? I mean what I should feel and do while singing

I know this doesn't help, but i red the title of the post and thought "quickly, exhale dude, it's been like 30 mins how haven't you passed out yet! holy shit"

maybe someone else can help with technique, all i have is dad jokes, sorry

Singing will naturally use the inhaled air like fuel. So exhale normally while singing.

The next step is controlling your voice box. Mouth positions and body positionings would help but the principle lies on whether you are able to sing without straining your voice box too much by using your diaphragm and lung's air capacity instead of pushing everything on your throat. @.@

It should be clear, amplified, and steady voice. No shakiness nor strain, no pain, nor breathiness and you'd feel your throat open but have little need to control your throat. It's called Sustaining. @w@
Try it with a note ur comfy with and practice from there.

Then the voice box care. Cuz it's still an organ, gotta keep it in good condition. 👍🏻

That's for all 'em classical singers who do training tho. I'm assuming you're trying their ways. @w@
G'dluck! PPalClaps
