I'm not around all the time (doing a thing) but I'm here 🙂
Depends on the language really, I can go with a lot of things, mostly on the political themed side but I was indeed raised in a post dictatorship so.
I guess like everyone I inherited a lot of my tastes from the surroundings. Things like MPB, Ney Matogrosso, Leonard Cohen, Joan Baez, Tom Jobim, Ellis Regina, Ségio Godinho, Jorge Palma, la risnascitá italiana (some post WW1, some from WW2, I can go from today's protests as well), la chanson française (the classics and possibly some stuff we got on vynyl around somewhere), Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Genesis, Quinta do Bill, Mata Ratos, Xutos, Disturbed, Queen, the EMO genre when they haven't proven awful people.
Let's say I don't listen to a lot on Spotify when I have the amount of physical media available that I got and I work from home.

Also a lot of video game music. And for a long time my listening stopped around 99 but I've now moved on and listen to current stuff too.
