Trying to improve

I've been in the community here for a while now because I love music but I've never sung anything on here because I'm not a good singer at all and in the past I didn't mind but I'm learning how to play guitar and would like to be able to sing with it so any advice on how to improve as a singer if so dm me and I can sing a small bit if that helps too

With guitar, just learn the basic "open" chords

Grab a capo

Poof, you can basiclly "almost" play any song you want

Or make your own

Open chords and the pentatonic scale is basically 90% of it

Memorising the fretboard is useful to improvising too, but that's not needed if you just wanna play songs

Not exactly memorising the fretboard note by note, but the shapes of the scales is a big one
