i’m sure i’ve been doing it wrong and my throat hurts and i can never go high. i’m looking for someone who can teach me how to scream properly without damaging my voice. i’m a girl also if that makes a difference.

Hers is my basic advice, normally when someone takes a breath their shoulders raise as you are expanding for room upwards, to do a proper scream you need to breathe from the gut so your stomach pushes out instead.
