I am god awful at singing high notes so I’m trying to learn these two for a start

belting, literally means ' calling out ' like you're calling out to someone

in singing terms that's just hitting a high note with chest/mix voice and sustain/belting it for as long as you can support

falsetto on the other hand has a airy and fluid sound to it ( like a flute sound )
