@ivory skiff sounds like something you know a lot of

Don't do what Chris liepe says
Don't even know who that is
ill leave some info in a bit im at work atm
if youve been trying to learn screaming or any sort of vocal work off of YouTube and rly havent had much luck, id like to recommend watching some videos of Justin Bonitz of Tallah and his videos on vocal coaching. and watch his more recent videos, his older ones are from before he was a vocal coach, he even makes videos on him critiquing himself.
id say you should try and learn mainly from research on not specifically screaming, but on general vocal training. understanding your breath control, breath support, vocal intensity, and even the annatomy of your vocal folds and how they work are things that can help you in the long run.
remember that your voice is still a muscle at the end of the day, so it'll need time to build up strength and even dexterity, esp with screaming, this kind of stuff comes slow, even with proper training and a good teacher. know your limits, dont push yourself so much that you lose your voice just because you wanna sound cool.
lastly, take important notes, whether mentally or hell, even writting it down, VOCAL CARE istg, take care of your voice, the moment you fuck up your chords is sometimes usually the moment you wont be able to use it for god knows how long. so hydrate CONSTANTLY, stop when you feel pain or strain, and for gods sake, let your voice rest for a day or two. this one is what i stress the most because i used to fucj up my throat some days due to caring more about sounding cool than anything else.
if you have more specific questions, feel free to ask, ill answer to the best of my ability
@hazy cobalt
i love tallah so ill have to look at his channel tomorrow though cause its late
cause mainly its projecting cause i can make the noises just they ain't loud
if you mean with fry, a bit of a misconception is that going down to your fry register and doing "fry" for a fry scream is the same thing. it isnt really the same.
your fry register is different because a fry scream is made when you push a steady stream of air through your vocal break. you can find your vocal break when you slowly try to shift from your head voice to falsetto voice. finding rhe in between, youll find your voice does this breaking, creaky, "fry" type of noise.
now imagine youre doing a sit up, or saying "hut" but without the "T." this is where breath support and control comes i to play, pushing a steady and slow stream of air through your vocal break, and using the "hut" technique will then produce a fry scream.
tbh, other than the crackling aggresiveness that is a fry scream, it shouldnt feel too different from belting a high note. just make sure you do understand that with fry screams, at least early on, you dont want to add voice/a note to the scream, as a fry scream just by itself should just be air passing through compression of your vocal folds.
My friend that sounds like gibberish to me
i have 0 knowledge of vocal anything
i just like the ouhhhh's and the blegh's
but I'll try
yeah lol, watch justin's video on how to fry scream

@stiff dawn I’m truly proud to say this. You’re not a failure, you never fail to disappoint me
I just really don't know what I'm doing, haven't had proper training in my life
neither have i, but tbh, theres a good amount of stuff to learn from online, sadly though, its not well sarurated enough on places like youtube that its easy to find
