Hey friends. Marty here. You may have met me before hosting a karaoke party, or listening to you singing. I've been learning software engineering for the last half year, and I'm working on my final project for this bootcamp. The app is in an alright state, with the only thing(s) needing to be done related to getting Socket.IO to work properly and talking to the database/back-end.
If you'd like to check out what I've made so far, feel free to jump into it and give it a go. You can join/create a karaoke room, search for a song to put on the video player, and sing along to the karaoke video.
At this stage, I haven't been able to make it so that Socket.IO tells all connected users (to a single room) that a video has been chosen and update everyone's page to show the same video. I'll be working on this crucial part of the app until I have to present the project (finished or not).
Let me know what you think of it, and whether you'd like to see more of this as it gets updated.
