I've been wanting to learn how to play the guitar, I already have a wide understanding of it but I still find it overwhelming to memorize the chords do you guys have some tips?

If you take the E chord shape and use it as a bare chord you can play virtually play all the major chords really easily by just moving up and down, same goes with minor and all the other shapes!
Im not sure if this helps at all since I didn't really give any tips on how to actually memorize the chord shapes but I hope it might make it a little bit easier for you :)
