Okay so, I know it sounds bad. Especially when I put music on it, ends up horrible. But can anybody give me feetback on how to improve? I started trying to learn how to sing recently, so anything will be much appreciated. I tried to add vibratto and distortion instead of singing long flat notes and I think that turned out okay on the parts where I did it properly, but still the overall thing isn't good. Any feetback will be much appreciated.

Also, I'm sorry I'm sharing it as a link, but I can't upload it as a file for some reason.

At some point in the beginning I needed to uh gulp, please ignore that tho 😭 I didn't feel like recording it again because this is the only one I didn't mess up the lyrics in.

You probably shouldn't be focusing on vibrato and distortion when you're still developing your main technique for singing. It seems like your main difficulty is having a steady flow of air. You need to first of all have a good posture.

If you're singing while sitting down, you need to sit straight and make sure your chest isn't caving in against your stomach.
If you're standing, the same thing applies. It can also help having wider legs, but not too wide, as long as you feel steady on your feet you're doing it correctly.

Now for the actual singing part, you need to make sure you have a steady flow of air when singing, you've probably heard this 1000 times but breath support is key. To put it simply you need to have less activity in the face, and more activity in your chest.

I don't have a specific technique to help you, only basic advice since I also just started out singing. But I hope this helps at least a little bit!
