I've had this microphone for a few years, but have never properly figured out how to format the audio, or if there is freeware I can use to increase the sound quality by hand.

Any help is much appreciated, and who knows; Someone else might be able to use this too

I'm assuming you're using it in real time and not for recording purposes, and yes there are free ways you can use to format the audio by hand, but you're gonna have to dive pretty deep to really maximize the quality.

First of all. USB microphones in general are made to be easy to use but won't deliver the best sound quality. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to invest in better recording equipment to get an XLR microphone together with an audio interface for the best quality. In your situation tho I'm guessing that you haven't intended on spending any money so the blue yeti will be fine for now.

Alright, so in order to format/increase the audio quality you'll need to use a software capable of using VST plugins (basically audio effects) and route the audio output of said software to discord using a virtual cable and use that as your input. That way you could add any effect you'd ever want onto your voice. I personally use FL Studio and although it isn't free, there are probably free alternatives out there.

I could go on for ages but let me know if this is something you would even consider doing at all.
