Yeah, cuz we've through a lot and accomplished it without any hesitation rather than youth these days whom calling for "healing" every seconds

I would say I get exhausted fast as a chronically ill person. apart from that nothing can stop me no. I worked a full christmas season with a cold on nothing but globe amaranth tea, honey and spite

By full Christmas season I mean 50 concerts on the lead up, one midnight mass, 2 christmas day masses then sick, 10 on the lead to New years, Actual new years and then sick again

Had to take most of my yearly PTO to do that but I don't mind sacrificing the day job that way

What I really meant was youth around 20's (gen-Z).
Mostly in my place, they are being irresponsible and easily get away from work, said it's too much burden for them etc.

I agree 💯 these young folks today are just terrible with their attitude as well, and need to learn to respect others, but yet they want respect, I call them the " ENTITLED" generation

I can relate to what you said about the health issues cuz I carry the Epstein's Barr virus and I get wiped out fast it's awful 😞

So does in here too! They're lack of ethic and moral, also belittling others with their broken judgemental behaviour. They're too much playing on social media, rather to upgrade their knowledge by browsing on google at least.

I hear that I usually can interact with any age group, however when I start seeing that " victim mentality" and entitlement attitude " oh no won't co-sign that I'll be 59 in June and can't tolerate BS

Surely, I would only befriend them in social way for certain matters, but I'll cut them out once they jump over the boundaries cuz it's untolerable.
Like it or not, actually we should reach them out for the sake of our kids, cuz we should know how the world run later and how bad/good our kids would be, right?

We should be better than our parets, they almost never give any details of consequences when something is bad or good. Cuz in this tech and internet era, the more it developing, the easiest it gets to be accessed by our kids and future gen. We can't let them dragged on it without knowing how dangerous it could be. The future become trickier than past life with so many untold restrictions details we get.

For real I remember back in the days growing up in the late 1960s and 70s I saw my friends face 2 face, we did stuff together, played kickball up the block, went to the beach ⛱️ with my BF Mom and brother, went to each other's house, played in our backyard, swam in my friends pool in the summer ⛱️
Now....😞 Everything is DIGITAL, I mean it has its good to it, but it's like everything is digital

That's why we need to be wise using these tech, also teach our future gen to keep their private things "private". We should tell them to control it while still can.
Though they may still meet face 2 face, but almost no real chat there. They're never put their gadgets off hand/sight.
I really miss the old times when mailman knocking and give me letters.
