Hiya! Developing a vibrato looks like a tough task but it with practice itll become second nature
The trick is relaxation. When you relax your vocal chords will and that beautiful vibrato will come out. The tips to do so are
- keep your voice rested
- do warmups before you sing
- Open your mouth. You need to really accentuate the mouth shapes, especially on the high notes, and make them natural. This allows the air to flow well letting your chords relax.
- Breath from the diaphragm, not your chest. When you stand up straight and inhale you should feel it in your diaphragm, not he top of your chest. A tip my coach gave me was to rest my hand on my diaphragm to make sure that when I breath I feel it rise.
And heres a word of advice: Never force a vibrato! It can seem tempting, but it can damage your voice and will make you go off key if held long enough.
And that's it! A vibrato will take a long time to acquire, but it will all 100% be worth it!
