Hi! I'm also 15 currently taking Classical vocal lessons. Here are the some tips I've been given (which you can probably also find me sprinkling across other forums lol)
- Relax. It is so so so important to relax.
- Find your range!! It will make life so much easier once you find out what is good and bad for you (both in singing and itl I suppose). You can use videos on google to help, or simply practice different songs in different ranges and see which suit you best.
- confidence and passion. You should feel what you're singing and believe in every word that comes out of your mouth. Once you understand the lyrics you can make an engaging performance.
These are some overall tips, since some are more helpful in specific genres.
With regards to the music industry and being an artist, as corny as it sounds being honest with yourself and your art is the best way to gain a loyal fan base, along with understanding that it is ultimately a business where you’ll have to invest some money and a lot of time to make it work
Thank you very much for the advice i will definitely work on using my voice in the right range and relaxing the kinda issue i have is that im like in a situation where its like not bad when i sing but im just not on the high level i wanna be in
