#How do I increase my chest voice range beyond my first bridge which is at an F4?

My voice flips to falsetto past an F4. I've done lip trills and motor boat sounds and whatnot but to no avail. Is there a method yall would recommend? I've noticed that when I hold back the air and constrict my abs in a healthy way, I can pull my chest all the way up to a C5. However, it sounds too chesty. It doesn't sound like the sound I'm able to make when singing on autopilot. Thanks.

Doing those exercises, do not actually help

#

What you need to do is what my mother taught me from the age of five matching pitch

#

And also a power stance helps too with a straightened back, relaxed, but in a way that the legs are apart and shoulders, back chin slightly up

#

Do not tense up because if you tense up you can pass out

#

So basically stay relaxed but power stance

I'm not quite sure what they're on about, but as a classically trained tenor, you want to work on a more nasal placement. At first you can use a "nya" sound to find the write placement, and this will help you reach higher notes without sounding like you're yelling. It might sound dumb at first, but trust me it helps. While doing this, you want to think of your mouth as a sort of trumpet, which means a small opening of your mouth and a bigger space in the back of your mouth. This will help you create a more focused sound in the higher registers.
