Yeah if you already have a decent microphone it's your room resonating that frequiency that's causing the problem. The best way to fix that, and also all the other problems like background noise in your recordings is by making a homemade singing booth in something like a closet. If you know your microphone is the problem then just investing in a better quality microphone will solve it. There isn't really microphones that's better or worse for different registers. A good microphone can fit a very bassy voice just as well as a really bright one

As for microphones there's a lot of different price ranges. But I would recommend the AT2020 as a microphone on the cheaper end. But preferably the NT1 or the NT1-A if you can afford it
