hey! im ariana and im looking to go to university and to major in my singing. im just looking for options for my future and i was wondering if anyone has majored in music production or like anything vocal related. if so please lmk whihc university u attendended and what you did to prepare to go to tht university. ik im a bit young to be thinking about university but i really want to start to prepare now. thankss :3

Uni here is self directed learning.
The whole point of the university system here, is to imbue self directed learning. No more, no less.
This means, you are often given loads of questions in lectures, no answers and are left to find the answers on your own, in your own time via research.
Completely useless if you are already capable and research/learn on your own. Especially for music, you aren't told or shown anything and if you are it's mostly prompting for you to figure out the rest alone.
It's alright for networking I suppose, also the facilities if you don't have access to that kind of equipment.
Though again, if you get out in your local area and meet people at events and find practice time with other musicians. It's not needed.
Otherwise, complete waste of time. Study a $$$ Degree and pay for a home studio.
