#Best way to learn how to read music
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
When I first started out, I learned with the help of flashcards. One side has a picture of the note and the other has the letter. I always spent 5 minutes going over that before doing my finger warm-ups on the piano. It would also be best to watch a video on piano notes if you don't have an instrument since you'll also get to hear what notes would sound like by themselves. Being familiar with the sounds of the notes may help in remembering or knowing how a song is played even if you only have a music sheet.
i use the music theory app for identifying notes. you can also learn different keys, chords, etc
that is very helpful! thank you
which app?
