The server has 3 types of voice channels, where 99% of the stuff happens, here's a quick breakdown.
K-Box - short for Karaoke Box, this are our standard karaoke channels, where we use a queue bot to ensure everyone who wishes to, gets a fair chance to sing, read the #1029832520918892564 thread for more info on how to use the bot and #1029830579430117407 for a more in depth explanation on the server culture/etiquette (totally optional reads)
Jam-Box - short for come on and slam, welcome to the jam (box) this is the place where people come together to chat and fool around with their instruments and well.... jam with each other.
There's really no strict set of rules for what people do in jam boxes, however, there are a two things you shouldn't do in them (besides normal server rules ofc)
1 - Don't expect to get a queue going, go to a k-box for that lol
2 - Don't be "that guy". Yes, i know i said you can play your instrument in the channel, that doesn't mean that the people chilling in there want to hear you shred your guitar or play your recorder, join the channel, see what's up and only play your instruments in a respectful and tasteful way, don't start playing out of the blue without saying hi. Trust me, i tried it, people didn't like it
Chat Rooms - short for Chatting Roombas this our our boring vanilla chat channels where people don't sing (buuuu). You should not join this channels, singing is better than not singing, always
We sometimes add the mini and micro prefixes to this channels (example: mini k-box) usually to indicate that this is a small kbox, usually with a size cap, for our shy friends out there
