#What are the best places to post a short film along with other content?

There's Short of the Week, Omletto, Shortverse and OTV
Those places are kinda like streaming services for short films. The first two are youtube channels. They post people's short films
I have heard of Omletto, I just know some people do it as like a portfolio sort of thing like Luca here for example: https://youtube.com/@lucapizzoleo?si=vhYWZwhQrS0s6cvM are people like this just a special case? Like if I just made my own channel like that, would it just be useless?

Luca Pizzoleo is an award-winning independent filmmaker celebrated for his unique storytelling and viral successes. His latest short film, O.C.D., captivated audiences worldwide, earning over 1 million views on YouTube within two weeks and amassing 12 million views across social media. With more than 25 million views...
My idea was to just upload my first few shorts to my YouTube/IG (along with a channel like Omletto if possible), and then when I become more confident with what I create to then submit them to premiere at a festival and then post those to my socials after the fact as well.
Obviously some of that is situational, but that was the plan I had in my head
You could aim for DUST or ALTER if your film is sci-fi or horror, respectively
Otherwise you have to weigh the pull of your film with your audience and whether or not you want to drop it online for free or put it behind a paywall
Not a crazy paywall mind you, TVOD for a few bucks
