Any tips on making your first Demo Real?

I’m starting production on my first demo reel and was lookin for any pointers. I’ve done Research myself, but figured asking here wouldn’t hurt.

Treat it just like a resume for a normal job only a video instead of a paper. Show off only the best work you have. One or two really good things is better than 10 very bad shots. Under a minute is ideal, but just like a youtube video the first few seconds are most important

Oh and always include your name and contact at both the begining and the end

My first reel was only like 40seconds of decent footage that I scrounged together
