Maybe you can give me some advice actually? I started getting back into my childhood Hi8 cam and am now converting the tapes to digital. But the buzz I get from the audio is insanely loud. Have you been able to get any good audio?

Honestly I haven’t done anything deliberate to improve the audio quality, it’s always maintained a kinda grungey sound to it. I have a Panasonic, maybe it’s just a hardware difference.
