I would say it's so both Miles and Gwen don't get harmed in the future. But knowing that Gwen's side didn't end in misery, he now sees that Gwen was trying to save him.

I just saw Spider Man Across the Spiderverse and man I loved it. I missed like 1/4th of the movie but what I saw really sold me that this one is not only better than the first but one of the best sequels ever. This is just a beauty to watch at times I was just mesmerized by how amazingly beautiful, vivid, colorful, detailed, and stunning this looked. The blending of styles of animation was just incredible. Every frame, every shot, every second looks like a masterpiece, its a work of art that took so much time to craft that not only tells but enhances the story and the characters. I could on and on about this movie, brilliant work, masterfully done this is my favorite Spider-Man film. I would say 10 out 10 but I wouldn’t feel right rating with out having seen the full thing.

It’s very complicated, since animation doesn’t involve ALL of the other filmmaking techniques (until relatively recently) while cinema at large CAN include all the disciplines of Animation. People don’t look at it like it’s the same art form, instead the one is “bigger” than the other, and unfortunately discredit/disregard it. Not much we can do, it’s not like it’s Japan or anything, where graphic culture is ingrained.

The colors that form around Miles Spider Sense are the colors of the Prowler and Miles who was supposed to be the Prowler of Earth-1610. But since the Spider Sense changed for the iconic red and blue color, he is now the Spider-man of Earth-1610. He could've been the Prowler after Uncle Aaron died and take up the mantle. As for Earth-42 Miles would've been Spider-man

The Dark Knight Returns and A Death in The Family are good

all are limited series so no need to scramble through 5 different comic titles to get the story, they all end so it doesn't just drag out forever.

I'd say avoid The Dark Knight Strikes Again like the plague, its probably the worst comic sequel I've ever read.

Batman: Hush is recc'd a lot but I really disliked it. I think you'd like it if you don't really mind comic writing shenanigans where things dont really add up and reveals get rectonned and the "mysteries" are super obvious, but it has VERY good artwork

The first 3 volumes of the New 52 Batman by Scott Snyder are also pretty good but still suffer from some of the ongoing comic woes

This film is an example of perfect sequel not only expanded on the themes, characters, and world of the first but also recontectilizing everything we saw before.

The whole theme of accepting you're identity and writting you're own story is true engraved in the storys concept of people that have to hide a part of themselves from the rest of the world, a world that demands them to be one way or the other. And this dissonance, this tension causes a rift in the lives of victums to it.

They want it all, but yet the world will limit them to only one thing.

I loved what the film did with Spot

This is a combination of genius marketing and writing subverting us away from him and toward the conflict between Spiderman 2099 and Miles WHICH WE DID GET AN OBUNDENCE OF, which does play out in the most climatic way possible.
