I have recently watched "Drive My Car," "Burning" (2018), and "Chungking Express" (although I did not enjoy it at first). I am now looking for more movies that evoke the same personal and soothing qualities as "Drive My Car" and "Manchester by the Sea" - nothing grandiose, but still deep. Although I can't quite put it into one word, I hope you understand what I am looking for. Please feel free to suggest any movies that have a similar charm. Thank you!

Hi! I think you could give a chance to "Hana-bi" by Takeshi Kitano, if you like eastern movies, or some Kim Ki-Duk movies like "3-Iron".
Few days ago I watched "Close" by Lukas Dohnt, a very good film that might match what you are looking for 😉
They both seems wonderful, I'll surely try them today.
Close is only on MUBI?
i feel like slow and subtle is almost synonymous with 'good movie' most of the time, so i'll just list some recent favorites
Aftersun, The Power of the Dog, Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy, Minari, First Cow, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, The Farewell, Roma, Shoplifters, Cold War, Phantom Thread, The Florida Project, Moonlight
the brown bunny
I don't know, I think it's different for each country!
