I've been looking for the name of a childhood tv-series.
Everything is vague since this was aired in West-Europe when I was 9-10-11 y/o (about). I'm looking for an English-spoken tv-series with a Lassie-like theme. However every episode wasn't particularly following a specific animal, but the adventures of the son and daughter of a park-ranger type father and focusing on a different animal not even sure about that now come to think of each episode. It was mostly geared towards a young teen audience.

I'm guessing it was made between '82-'86 (but can be older).
Suspecting it was produced somewhere New-Zealand or Australia because of the weird animals in each episode.
One episode stuck with me where the kids go scuba-diving and the son got bitten by a water snake (poisonous). It was a race against the time to get the antivenom from miles away (btw def not Flying Doctors). The kid got anti-venom in time.
The intro song had this weird choppy cartoon-style to it.
