i dont get this whole topic with tangents and things i tried looking at maths videos online on how to do them it seems pretty simple but i just keep somehow getting it wrong can someone explain a simple easy method of doing this?

From the point of view of calcuation -

Calculate the slope of thr secant for a small change in x.

Let the small change approach 0, and the secant will approach the tangent
