Let V be a Vector Space over K, and let U and W be subspaces of V. Prove that U u W is a subset of U + W.

I understand generally what is going on but I struggle formulating this. I would appreciate a few pointers of how to go about proving this.

it's a matter of unfolding definitions here, there's no pro skater tricks, if you understand the terms in what you need to prove, i.e.
what a subset is,
what a union of subspaces is,
what a sum of subspaces is,
it should go pretty easily
