I think it is pretty confusing: it's better to introduce notations before using them, not after m (like you did with f, x, k, g, and n). I would also use "Suppose/assume" rather than "if" but that's only my opinion.
Additionnally you need g to be injective in order to say
"g(x)=0 => x=7"
which I think you did not specify
Oh i really forgot that.. thanks anyways, also I'll mention those terms, but I guess I mentioned k,n correctly. Did I?
