im going thru test reviews to study for my exam tmmrw but i dont know how to solve these equations,
someone please help!

I assume you’re more so confused with the second photo (questions 3 and 4).

I would suggest making sure you are comfortable with your index laws (I don’t know if you will have access to these on a formula sheet during your exam).

I think the law you should look into is on negative exponents. If you have something like a the power of -b, which is a^(-b), that is the same as 1 / a^b.
Basically if you want to get rid of the negative power, you flip the fraction.

Also for question 3a, I would suggest simplifying that fraction first before you start
doing anything else.

3b you did correctly they just wrote it another way and 4 it’s hard to see what you did wrong there as you can’t see the full question

It appears as though you might have just missed a negative sign, which is understandable (we all do it sometimes)
