What is the cars initial value? At year 0, you should have the coordinates (0, initial value). Then think about what the value will be in year 1. That should give you the coordinates (1, initial value minus some number). From there you can use your linear formulas to get the answers

Equation for a line: y = mx + b
m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
