You have something different from (-3+2^((x+2)/2))*log2 (16) in geogebra
i know, but it is actually the same thing. log2 (16)=4 and 2^(2+x)/x is 2*2^(2/x)
realized i wrote it wrong in the original question, it is 2^((x+2)/x)
the one in the graph calculator is the correct one
Then 3 is not a solution
well the teacher marked it as correct
Just plug it into the equation
well yeah thats what i was asking
why do we get this solution if we solve the equation the traditional way, but the solutions dont work
So, it is either the equation is wrong or the teachers remarks
if you want i can show you the solution steps if you want
but it will take a second as i have to rewrite it on paper

i managed to type the equation wrong for the 3rd time
If you got 3 as an answer and the equation was as you corrected then there must be a mistake in the solution
Ok so im so sorry but now it apparently shows the 2 intersections in geogebra. It was 2^((x+3)/2.)
