When doing the limit test, you don't actually need to solve the limit. You can use inequalities as long as they go in the correct direction.

(n-1)/(n^3+1) < 1/n^2 for example

Dont you have to do partial fractions to find the integral kd n-1/n^3 +1

you only care whether it's finite or infinite
