i dont understand 2k or 2k+1 or 2k-1, if someone want to vocal i can . Iam french if some french can help me but if u talk english its okay.

Even numbers are off the form 2k. 2k+4 is also even.
2k+1 is odd.
You can get a feel for it by plugging in a bunch of values for k.

k can take any integer value. Every number of the form 2k+1 is odd, and every odd number is of the form 2k+1.
