You just substitute

#

5 = -2x + 1, you should be able to do it from there

#

What exactly is confusing you?

#

You've got an equation for y in terms of x, you also know y, what else is there? Are you struggling with rearranging?

look see the question says that y is 5 so you just sub 5 into the equation where you will get 5 =-2x+1
Now take 5= -2x + 1 and solve it using how you normally solve a linear equation

#

R u struggling with solving the equation?

look, take 5-1= -2x
So -2x= 4 move the negative to the 4
So 2x=-4
Solve it and u get x=-2. See, it’s actually not that hard
