So i used chain rule when they expanded then integrated. which got me a similar results with the addition of a constant 36, i realised in definite integral it will cancel out so does it just get consumed by the c

yeah, if you consider the indef integral, you get $$ \frac{4x^3}{3} - 12x^2 + 36x + C $$ doing the other way you get (when you expand) $$ \frac{4x^3}{3} - 12x^2 + 36x - 36 + C $$

C and C - 36 is the same thing really since theyre both constants
