Convergence of an Finite Series
I don't think we talk about "convergence" for finite sums. This is just an algebraic property : summing a finite number of times some elements of some group yields an element which is still in that same group
you can say that the real numbers are closed under finite addition, hence sum of any real numbers will be a real number, and those are finite by definition
