Since they have given three roots 2 known and 1 unknown multiply (x+1) *(x-2) *(x-k) to get a cubic equation then compare the original equation and the new one to get a relation between k and the three variable coefficients
Substitiute the roots in the original equation to get 2 relations between a, b and c
