EDB = DBA-EAB and EDB = CDB-CED

#

EDB = DBA-EAB=> EDB= ( 1/2* 3* AB) - ( S-6)

EDB = CDB-CED => EDB = ( 1/2 3CD) -S

EDB=EDB=> 1/2 3 AB -6= 1/2 3 CD

divide both sides for 3/2 you will have AB -CD=4
