Initially I thought of doing the pythagorean theorem to solve for vector B and then doing inverse Tangent of B/A to get the angle

you cant use pythagorean theorem because its not a right triangle

you could draw the vectors A and C as coming out of the origin

#

and the B would be the vector from the tip of A to the tip of C

#

and you can use law of cosines to find the magnitude of B
