Hi! The amplitude, Midline, and Period are very clearly shown in the images. To explain into further detail:
** Amplitude** is the distance from the highest point to the midline. In this case, our Amplitude is 3 because the highest point the function reaches in 4, minus the midline (1), so 4-1 = 3.
The Period is the interval in which the function begins to re-iterate itself, or loop again. In this case, the Period goes from [0 , pi].
The Midline is commonly associated with the point in which the Period ends, begins, and has a center of. In this case, the Midline is 1 because the Period begins and ends at y = 1, and has a point in the center where y = 1 as well.
