2/[x] at x=0 is indeed undefined, but when computing limits you shouldn't be influenced by what the expression actually evaluates to at that specific x value

the idea of that limit is to see how 2/[x] behaves for x values close to but less than 0 (has to be less than 0 because the limit says x->0-), not to evaluate at x=0
