ofcourse i also understand the concept of that map
but what confuses me is that it gives me a map for instance if it were to be φ(x) then i would be totally fine doing it but its just a index of φ
so Φ(x+y)=φx+y
you understand how to add two maps in this context ?
but x+y is the index of φ
like Φ(x)+Φ(y), this is a sum of maps
