I guess this message was deleted? But I'll add a few ideas just to get you started in case. The logarithm is the inverse of the exponential. 2^x for example, the inverse function (meaning the input and output swaps) is log base 2 of x. Look at this for example: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/4p1tddlem1 Notice how the functions are reflected about the line y = x. Logarithms are useful because they can solve problems like "three to what power equals 9?" which is 2 Or in math log base 3 of 9 = 2. It also works for harder questions that can't be solved immediately like "what power of e equals pi?" or in math log base e of pi = ?
$log_{3}(9) = 2$
