I’m currently studying math theory rn, there’s this question about quad eq on extracting the square roots that I don’t understand, I’m trying to master every single bit of it.

use the quadratic formula

a=3,b=0,c=-23

There are several ways to do this. For example, you can complete the square or use the quadratic formula. Which one you should do here depends on what you're doing in class.

Though in the next month or two, you're going to need to be able to do both anyway.
