If you have a function with two inputs that are both limits can you substitute the second limit with a variont of the first one assuming both the limits are coming from the same direction

there's probably a counterexample where they're not equal but I can't think of one at the moment cus I sux at analysis lol

Just from intuition thought I wouldn't think they'd be equal necessarily

Cause imagine a cross section across the y = x - a + b graph

That's where you're taking the x ->a limit from

In that cross section you could have say z = f(x) = (x - a)^2 + 87777

Whereas in the cross section running across y = 6,5,4,etc all the way to b the functions f(x) could just be f(x) = 0 if x /neq y + a - b

So LHS would be 0 and RHS would be 87777

#

OK I think I can make an explicit function out of this example
