If by code you mean an activation code for some online application, then you are probably out of luck.
Though if this is for high school in the US, shouldn't the school give you a new textbook for free?

nah its for my college pre calc class, the directions werent clear enough and i had to ask a friend about it but since i have the textbook now i should be good

Does your class require the code? A used or borrowed textbook won't really work.

it does but apparently we can log in with a link given and itll auto fill the code
